I combine user interviews with behavioural cues and mental models from psychology: not only what people say, but what they do under pressure. That surfaces real motivations in discovery, not polite answers.
Insights become a problem statement both sides can act on: clear for users, aligned with business KPIs and legal or policy constraints, so stakeholders share one definition of success.
I map journeys across teams, channels, and back-office tools, designing the ecosystem rather than a single screen. So handoffs, data flows, and edge cases are addressed before UI polish.
Prototypes and tests are tied to hypotheses and success metrics. I iterate on what the evidence shows, not personal preference, and document decisions for engineering and compliance.
After launch I stay close to outcomes: adoption, satisfaction, revenue, or time-on-task, so design accountability extends beyond the ship date.
